Powerflush is a low-foaming acid detergent formulated to clean and sanitise stainless steel and rubber surfaces that have been exposed to milk. For use on dairy farm platforms, Powerflush is formulated with a mix of sulphuric and phosphoric acid with a biodegradable sanitiser.

| Application rate | Acid wash only. Plant: Compliance requires all milk contact surfaces to be rinsed with a minimum of 5 L of compliant water per set of cups before milking. Hot water discharge temperatures must be greater than 55°C. Dilute Powerflush at the rate of 1.5 mL per L of hot water using the wash volumes: Jetter/bucket wash – 10 L of wash solution per set of cups or reverse flow – 20 Lof wash solution per set of cups. Drain plant. Bulk Milk Tank: Compliance requires all milk contact surfaces to be rinsed with a minimum of 120 L of compliant water before milking. Hot water discharge temperatures must be greater than 55°C. The maximum water temperature for vat cleaning should be 82°C to avoid damage to the cooling pad. Dilute Powerflush at the rate of 1.5 mL per L of hot water based on the wash volume as seen below. Recycle for 3 min. Drain bulk milk tank. |
