Feeding rates
The feeding rates below are based on a 500kg bodyweight. Adjust intakes as required depending on bodyweight. Last trimester of a mare’s pregnancy: 500 grams per day, spelling - 300 grams per day, light work - 400 grams per day and moderate work - 500 grams per day.
