Growers, alongside their local Fruitfed Supplies Technical Horticultural Representative (THRs), create specific spray programmes, applying crop protection products and nutrients to optimise growth.
These spray programmes are primarily informed by our research and development team as well as close relationships with the major chemistry suppliers worldwide. These connections allow us to offer a large portfolio of proven products.
With our THR’s technical expertise and product knowledge, the spray programmes meet the crop’s stringent traceability and export requirements.
A dedicated service:
Our Technical Horticultural Representatives (THRs) regularly visit the crop to monitor for insect pests and disease levels, and to assess the programme’s efficacy and application timings depending on the pressures found.
For a dedicated monitoring service, our Crop Monitoring team can provide accurate data on pests and diseases, as well as identify beneficial insects. This information forms the basis of decision-making on the timing of when to spray.
Flexibility is key when creating spray programmes, with weather events often affecting application timings. Our THRs offer product advice, so programmes can be adapted to ensure the crop is ready to meet critical timings, such as harvest.
