Easy Returns

Products ordered online can be returned within 30 working days of taking delivery of the products, provided they meet our return conditions. The goods can be either refunded, replaced or exchanged.

There are three effortless ways to process a return:

  • Processing a return online: Sign into your PGG Wrightson Web Account and look for "Returns" on your left menu and follow the steps.
  • Returning a product in store: Head into your local PGG Wrightson store with your packaged product and your online order reference (in print or electronic version).
  • Contacting our customer service team: Ring 0800 10 22 76 and our customer service team will take you through the steps to return the product to us.

Speedi-Beet is a quick soaking, starch-free, beet pulp flake for feeding horses and ponies. Easy to prepare, Speedi-Beet is an ideal fibre source for feeding horses and ponies prone to laminitis as it delivers slow-release energy while helping maintain the balance of bacteria in the horse's hindgut.

Choose the amount of Speedi-Beet you wish to feed your horse. Small amounts can be fed to horses prone to weight gain or as a carrier for a mineral or vitamin supplement or medication. Larger amounts can be fed as energy to performance or working horses or to add condition. 

  • Starch free and containing only 5% sugar, Speedi-Beet aids a healthy digestive tract, maintains overall good health and reduces the risk of laminitis
  • Highly digestible, quick soaking fibre flakes
  • Typical nutritional analysis: Oil 1%, protein 8%, fibre 16%, ash 9%, DE MJ/kg 11, sugar 5% and nil starch
  • Delivers slow-release energy
  • No added molasses
  • Feed alongside compound feeds and balancers
  • A source of hydration as Speedi-Beet holds 5x its own weight of water
  • Prebiotic effect due to beet fibre
Specifications
Feeding rates Feed Speedi-Beet up to 0.5 kg (dry weight so weight before soaking) per 100 kg bodyweight of horse. For a 500 kg horse, feed up to 2.5 kg of Speedi-Beet (dry weight) each day.
How to prepare Add one part dry Speedi-Beet to five parts water by weight. So half a kilogram of dry Speedi-Beet would require 2.5 litres of water. Add more water to make a sloppier mash if you want to help your horse rehydrate. You can prepare in advance if you wish, but store in cool conditions and feed within 24 hours of soaking.

Major nutrients Oil 1%, protein 8%, fibre 16%, ash 9%, DE MJ/kg 11, sugar 5% and nil starch.
