Coolade is a complete textured feed formulated for horses in light work or spelling, fussy eaters and those that require a low grain diet. This feed is high in fibre and low in energy, containing essential nutrients and Omega 3 to promote healthy coat condition.
Steam flaked barley, steam flaked peas, grain and grain byproducts, linseed flakes, vegetable protein meal, lucerne chaff, molasses, vegetable oil, minerals and salts, KER vitamin and mineral pre-mix, mould inhibitor and apple flavour.
Feeding rates
Adjust intake according to needs based on breed, body weight, body condition, growth rate and available forage. Always provide at least 1.5% of the horse’s body weight in good quality forage (pasture, hay, chaff, fibre products) per day. Maintenance and light work for a horse weighing 400 kg – feed 2 to 2.5 kg. Moderate work for a horse weighing 400 kg - feed 2.5 to 4 kg.
