Easy Returns

Products ordered online can be returned within 30 working days of taking delivery of the products, provided they meet our return conditions. The goods can be either refunded, replaced or exchanged.

There are three effortless ways to process a return:

  • Processing a return online: Sign into your PGG Wrightson Web Account and look for "Returns" on your left menu and follow the steps.
  • Returning a product in store: Head into your local PGG Wrightson store with your packaged product and your online order reference (in print or electronic version).
  • Contacting our customer service team: Ring 0800 10 22 76 and our customer service team will take you through the steps to return the product to us.

Lamb Start Mix with Deccox® 6% is a textured starter feed for orphaned or surplus lambs from four days old homed on both commercial and lifestyle farming operations. This starter feed is also suitable as a creep feed for lambs on ewes, prior to and after weaning.

With added Deccox®, Lamb Start Mix aids in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in young sheep caused by Eimeria ovinoidalis, E. crandallis, E. parva and E. bakuensis..

  • Contains digestible grains, fibre, molasses and pellets to increase dry matter intake and support rumen development
  • By developing the rumen early, the risk of feed intake checks at weaning is reduced
  • Essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements promote optimal growth
  • Highly palatable feed encourages hard feed intake
  • Major nutrients: Crude protein 19%, fat (min) 3%, selenium 1 mg/kg, digestible energy 12.8 MJ ME/kg of dry matter
  • Meat withholding period: For sheep, goats, cattle and poultry - nil
  • Milk withholding period: For sheep, goats, cattle - intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 35 days following the last treatment
Specifications
Ingredients Cereal grains (wheat, maize, barley and triticale), cereal by-products, legumes, lucerne chaff, oilseed meals, by-products, molasses, vegetable oil, minerals, vitamins, essential oils, flavour, organic acids and Deccox® 6%.
Dose Rate For prevention only, aim to feed a daily dose of 0.5 mg/kg body weight of decoquinate. For example, 126 g Lamb Start Mix with Deccox® per 10 kg lamb. To aid in the treatment of coccidiosis provide a daily dose of decoquinate of 1 mg/kg body weight. For example, 252 g Lamb Start Mix with Deccox® per 10 kg lamb. Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.
Feeding rates As a supplement to milk feeding, feed ad-lib from four days of age. Healthy lambs older than four weeks of age, over 9 kg body weight, and typically eating 200 g/head/day, may be weaned off milk and onto pasture. After weaning, slowly reduce Lamb Start Mix intake over the next six weeks to 85 g/head/day. Introduce gradually to avoid digestive upsets.
