Calf Max 20% Muesli is a nutritionally balanced starter feed for young calves encouraging early intake of meal. The meal can be offered from birth to complement milk or milk replacer and quality roughage.
Calf Max 20% Muesli is high energy, highly palatable and is easily digested. It contains essential oils, prebiotic, vitamins and trace elements to encourage early rumen development, assisting calves to reach optimum growth rates as well as a coccidiostat for protection against coccidiosis. Typically calves can be weaned from milk when eating 1kg 20% Muesli per head per day for three or more consecutive days so long as they have reached weaning target weight.
Typically calves can be weaned from milk when eating 1 kg 20% Muesli per head per day over three consecutive days, as long as they have gained at least 35 kg from birth and have a prominent pot belly to show rumen growth and development. Continue to offer to calves post-weaning, typically at 1 - 2 kg per head per day. Always give calves access to clean drinking water and roughage.
