Easy Returns

Products ordered online can be returned within 30 working days of taking delivery of the products, provided they meet our return conditions. The goods can be either refunded, replaced or exchanged.

There are three effortless ways to process a return:

  • Processing a return online: Sign into your PGG Wrightson Web Account and look for "Returns" on your left menu and follow the steps.
  • Returning a product in store: Head into your local PGG Wrightson store with your packaged product and your online order reference (in print or electronic version).
  • Contacting our customer service team: Ring 0800 10 22 76 and our customer service team will take you through the steps to return the product to us.

The Brix Scale Refractometer allows the quality of colostrum in cows and mares to be tested before feeding to calves and foals. Readings of above 22% indicate high-quality colostrum.

The Refractometer is an essential item in any dairy or equine operation as it allows for the easy testing of colostrum. It is vital for two to four litres of good colostrum, packed full of antibodies, to be fed to foals and calves in the first 12 hours of life. To use the refractometer, test the calibration with distilled water then place two drops of the colostrum for testing on the glass prism. Aim the refractometer towards the light and read the colostrum level off the internal scale.
