The possum trap is easy to set up – simply pull a string located at the back of the trap. The trap is constructed as a yellow plastic box with a hole in the front that the possum puts its head into to access the bait. Inside the box is a spring loaded bar that strikes the possum under the chin, cutting off the possum’s wind-pipe so the possum falls unconscious and dies from lack of oxygen. Set the trap up anywhere - just be careful of your domestic pets.
