Valley VRI & Control Panels
Smart Control Panels can be integrated with centre pivots of most brands to give farmers and growers a touchscreen for ease of operation. We also offer Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) technology that enables remote management and customisable water applications to encourage greater precision and water efficiency.
ICON5 SMART CONTROL PANEL
The Valley ICON5 control panel offers the ease of push-button and touchscreen interaction. The 5-inch touchscreen interface has soft keys that mirror the touch control functions. Use ICON5 to access the status of your pivot and other inputs and review past historical data in an easy-to-read, customisable format. You can control your irrigator at the panel and via your mobile device or desktop.

VARIABLE RATE IRRIGATION
Valley® Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) allows you to customise your water applications, reducing over or under-watering areas and runoffs. This level of precision irrigating within a field allows you to increase your yields and increase water efficiency.
Customise water applications according to field topography, soil maps or crop yield data along with other field-specific information. The VRI’s remote upload capabilities mean you can quickly alter the centre pivot’s prescription as your water application as required in the field.
Benefits:
- Based on your VRI prescription, water can be applied only where it is needed
- By adjusting application depth throughout a field, runoff can be minimised
VRI-iS IRRIGATION SYSTEM IS A GAME CHANGER FOR MIXED OPERATION FARM
Yarrabee Park has been in the Stewart family since the 1950s when Joe Stewart's grandfather brought the property. Located in Darfield, Canterbury, prior to installing an irrigation system the land was dry which made farming tough. Working with the PGG Wrightson Water team to develop a pivot design to properly irrigate the farm, their VRI iS system is now a vital part of their operation, and has improved the farm's water efficiency.
