Quarantine Drenching

If you are buying stock, an effective quarantine drench must be used. Use Zolvix Plus to help prevent resistant worms entering your farm.

WHAT'S SO IMPORTANT ABOUT QUARANTINE DRENCHING?

  • All incoming lambs should be quarantine drenched with an active that is known to work.
  • Currently, that would be Zolvix Plus, as triple combination drench resistance is becoming more widespread
  • After drenching with Zolvix Plus, newly arrived lambs should be in a paddock where large numbers of sheep graze regularly. This will ensure that any eggs that may survive the quarantine drench are diluted amongst other larvae at pasture.
