Equine Balancer is a concentrated vitamin and mineral pellet suitable for horses that do not require the increased calorie intake provided by supplementary feed, but still require necessary vitamin and mineral intake for optimum health. Suitable for overweight horses and ponies as well as to top up nutrients when complete feeds are fed below recommendations.
Grain and grain co-products, vegetable protein meal, molasses, lucerne chaff, vegetable oil, KER vitamin and mineral pre-mix, amino acids, minerals and salts, mould inhibitor and apple flavour.
Feeding rates
Feed alone or combined with a suitable fibre source. Always provide at least 1.5% of the horse’s body weight in good quality forage (pasture, hay, chaff, fibre products) per day. Feed per day: Foal, spelling horse, dry mare, pony - 400 grams, horse in light work – 600 grams, weaning, yearling, late pregnant mare, lactating mare, stallion, hard-working horse, aged horse – 800 grams.
